I think this actually gets to the heart of most people's argument in favour of expanding vehicle infrastructure. "I hate driving so build more roads so I can spend less time driving". Then when alternatives to cars get proposed, they see that as causing more time spent driving.

I’m always confused when people complain about cyclists not stopping at stop signs. The vast majority of drivers do a “rolling stop” (i.e., they don’t actually stop) when possible. This is so normal people don’t even see it as breaking the law, but when cyclists do the same thing, it stands out.

Finished this serving tray over the weekend. Poplar with oil finish. The base is solid poplar as well that I resawed by hand from a 4/4 board and planed flat. Fun to do more hand tool work but that step probably took as long as the rest of the project combined. #woodworking
