Ngl, it’s been 3.5 years and over 150 ratings and this still shocks me: I really had no idea what I was doing when I wrote Traitors. I was just a dude who had always wanted to write a book but always failed. And I still feel like I’m only just getting started.

One of my favorite (non-spoiler) scenes in my current WIP, Until Worms Remain: Merily remembering how Cael killed a son of Horace Forehuin during the Reach Games years ago, and the celebration and mourning after.

Had a lot of fun doing this and already wrote some of these scenes!

I graduated from a small Christian school (2005). Our commencement urged us not to go college. He told us to go into trades, building roads for America. As a teacher going on to get my Library Science Masters, I’m building a different, valuable infrastructure. Support literacy.

It’s funny when people say not to have a “message” with writing. Almost all writing has a message, you might have just missed it.

My wife is laughing at me because I’m trying to be a good student for my master’s degree after being a terrible student my whole life. All I know is I’m one of those judgey good students now that turn things in on time and read everything.

All I wanna do is work on grad school, write books and poems, and listen to the new End It album
