Getting ready to drive home soon, and we always joke about how we always drive through rough weather around Buffalo. Just looked at the forecast, and we might just avoid Buffalo altogether this time.

Apparently I'm doing this -- my open letter to that open latter about AI in writing and publishing. I emerged from Hibernation Week to write it, so god only knows how much sense it makes. But at least a human wrote it, so that's nice. Bonus: picture of my "cat," sweet baby Boomba.

I just read The Tripps (literally just closed the book) and loved it! Yes, it was horrifying, and horribly sad, but perfectly so. And it's beautifully written with heart-breaking characters and brilliant echoes from The Stand. On to the next story!
