We just wrapped up two lovely weeks guiding our new MSc students on a journey from using the command line and the cluster to read-cleaning, assembling/annotating genomes, and performing GWAS. It's super gratifying to see the new students gain new powers. But holy crap it was really exhausting too!!

`git reflog` is incredible... "you only learn about it when you really fuck up :)" Basically it keeps track of all git commits you've ever done locally. Even if they're disconnected from the repo, outside of any branch, and are otherwise lost due to rebasing
