i listened to aimee mann's album i'm with stupid for the first time a couple of nights ago, and i can't stop listening to the song frankenstein. it's so damn captivating both lyrically and melodically in a way that makes my brain tingle.

i ordered some cds from hmv the other night. i got a couple of phoebe bridgers albums (punisher and stranger in the alps), jade thirlwall's that's showbiz baby, japanese breakfast's jubilee and the kpop demon hunters soundtrack. (1/3)

i've got a week off in november; my first week off since the start of may!! i'll finally have time to reorganise my pokemon card folder and possibly rescue sonic from that mining kit i never finished. i also might build my lego Ecto-1 that i got for my birthday.

saw the Shelby Oaks trailer for the first time at the cinema today and holy moly i can't even put my excitement into words.

no idea why i'm worrying so much about this but i'm going to see black phone 2 at the cinema tomorrow. and i'm obsessing over the thought that they're going to id me and not accept my expired passport and i'll be turned away.

panic over btw!! manager said it was fine, but in the end someone handed it in. apparently it was a class of autistic kids, like the kind of deal where they go around public places with a teacher to build their confidence/social skills or something. my manager had to take a photo with them.

booked myself in to see k-pop demon hunters at the cinema on halloween ahhhhh i'm so excited for it. i think i'm gonna treat myself to a huntrix hoodie or t-shirt.

genuine question: so i'm considering maybe joining the uk green party (like, becoming a member of it). a lot of people are joining it at the moment and i can afford the membership fee. but i have to admit i don't fully get what joining the party really does/what difference it makes.

as the night has gone on i've been increasingly stressing about this. no idea if it's a case of 'oh it's fine', 'ugh why'd you do that, or 'you're in trouble'. my brain won't let me stop thinking about it which isn't fun.

fellow audiobook listeners, i'm wondering if anyone else has this experience. i constantly have to rewind audiobooks when i first start off listening to one, but once i'm a few chapters in i don't have to rewind nearly as much.

these past couple of days i've been itching to read but i feel too tired to read anything at all complex (i started Jordan Peele's Out There Screaming two weeks ago). i don't think i can comprehend an audiobook with how tired i am either so back to Freida McFadden i go. pray for me.

also my morning bus has been making me anxious about days where i start work in the morning so i'm thinking about getting an earlier bus and maybe getting a coffee from a cafe. but like i haven't ever ordered a from a coffee shop before so like that also fills me with some dread.

maybe this is tmi but i finally got some new bras (i only really wear them when i go to work) and i'm really loving them. the dysphoria isn't really there like it is with other bras i've tried and since they're crop top style bras they're pretty comfortable but still supportive.

i have to be up in 2 hours and i can't sleep. I slept for like 2 hours from 11:30pm-1:30am ish (so i've been awake for four hours). so. i'm just trying to chill and not panic about not being able to sleep.

i always get girl meets world youtube shorts pop up on my recommended feed and i have only myself to blame because i can't resist the temptation to click on them. i've not watched past season 3 of boy meets world let alone a single episode of girl meets world.

no idea if this is an unpopular opinion or not but i wish that horror movies didn't feel the need to punctuate most of their scares/dramatic moments with some musical sting or bang or whatever. i wish that they let more creepy moments speak for themselves.

just got an automated message on indeed from 'army jobs' telling me about a job opportunity to be a soldier. assuming i had no moral objections to the military, i barely function at a minimum wage retail job. rarely do i survive a match of dead by daylight. i would be a liability on a battlefield.

just saw the long walk and i have no idea how anyone could've watched that whilst walking on a treadmill because i was in floods of tears for probably an hour of it.

not being fully a girl aside, i am honoured.
