Genuinely crazy how much the Interview with the Vampire/Vampire Lestat TV show has done literally everything right in terms of adapting the source material into a new era and a new medium. Feels like the sort of bonkers Lighting In A Bottle we've only ever seen with a show like Hannibal before.

I won some painting competitions at the game store today and it was really nice! Learning and playing 40k has been such a good thing for me, I think.

If you put some cheap stew beef, a single can of cream of mushroom soup, a single packet of beefy onion bullion powder, and then whatever spices you want into a crock pot for like 8 hours you will get a delicious pot of brown goop you can serve with noodles for literally 0 effort

Since January I've been participating in an "escalation league" at my local game shop which has functionally been a way for me to learn and play 40k from scratch and build out a whole army. The final event of the league is on Sunday! I'm excited about it!
