For anyone stuck in a bit of despair, I am HIGHLY recommending reading Lola Olufemi’s “Experiments in Imagining Otherwise.” I have never quite felt the both/and of possibility as well as the reality of cost/work as much as this book presented. It is a masterpiece.

i read Experiments in Imagining Otherwise by Lola Olufemi im not a big nonfiction/theory reader so i feel underequipped to opine... i appreciate very much the emphasis on the communal i think this book was very much worth my while

It’s hard to exaggerate how bad the situation is in the UK. There are eight people on hunger strike and David Lammy recently claimed he wasn’t even aware of it. That hunger strikers may actually die is barely even news.

Solidarity with the hunger strikers. It is an egregious violation for them to be held on remand - without trial or conviction. All for protesting against a genocide. Shameful.
