A former leader of a Kaliningrad Spetsnaz-unit suddenly appeared in an unmarked uniform on a shadow fleet vessel in Oresund. Pilots have reported several sightings of these ‘little green men’ in the Danish straits, and now we’ve identified one of them. Full story in Danish:

The Russian fishing vessel which experienced machine failure in Denmark this weekend crossed three different undersea cables while drifting. It stopped close to undersea gas infrastructure and close by Danish military intelligence hq and CPH Airport. Experts suspect spying. In Danish.

German police raided possible drone-spy-vessel Scanlark two days ago. The ship is suspected of having spied on German maritime infrastructure on the 26th of August. The same day Scanlark passed by a Danish naval base and The Great Belt Bridge before anchoring off Göteborg. (In Danish)

Good morning. The escort continues for WALL (German Coastguard Bamberg escording. F361 Iver Huitfeldt seems to be returning, while P520 Diana seems to have been positioned all night to pick up the escort for NIGHT GLORY. Both false flagged vessels are currently in international waters.

MARATHON has had another change of heart and is now heading north of the Shetland - she will soon be further north than when loading in Russia. Shown here are the tracks of other tankers in the area this month. MARATHON is not following any of the normal routes.

Something has caused MARATHON to change course (my guess - the shock of NZ sanctions). Vessel is now heading northwest - unsure it that means she'll be going around the north of the UK, or even further north around the Norwegian coast. I'd be grateful for advice from the locals!

Mystery regarding Udaya aka Marathon (IMO: 9288746) increases. She was monitored by a Schiebel Camcopter S-100 drone* 6-7 hours prior to P521 Freja intercepting. If we had intentions of stopping her, why not do it as she spent 2.5 hours travelling through Danish waters?

Also notice the destination for this one. Claiming it's on its way to Croatia while entering the Baltic Sea. A strong pattern with shadow vessels - entering the Baltic while claiming their destination are EU-countries, but they always end up in the Russian ports.

Danish navy patrol almost made contact with sanctioned and possibly no-flagged shadow tanker Udaya, but turned around last minute. There's sort of military awareness surrounding the vessel but I'd be surprised if it doesn't just get to sail through.

The authorities informed me yesterday evening that they had no intention of stopping the vessel as it had Cameroon flag. I informed them that the flag is false according to @lloydslistdaily.bsky.social and that it expired in 2024 according to Equasis. Yet Falcon is continuing its journey.

Danish FM said Saturday that authorities are looking into possibly confiscating flagless tankers. Now Falcon, flagless LPG-tanker who hid it's AIS-signal for five days in the Gulf of Finland, is entering Danish waters. We asked the authorities if they will take action, but they did not reply.

A Russian national has set up a forgery factory in Norway and has cheated authorities in the Baltic Sea by providing fraudelent papers to the shadow fleet, which have been presented during the controls by Western countries. Authorities had no idea they were being cheated. @glistrup.bsky.social
