vets called back and said he’s in great health for his age, but will need to change up his diet for his kidney as it’s showing early signs of potential disease, but mentioned that’s kinda to be expected at his age. funny how it took 2 vet visits for him to become famous there, the menace

I had to stay home and watch the dog, but sass just got back from the vet with Dougie for his bloodwork and my poor boy is so drugged up and stumbling around 😭 I have a house full of high animals

we sent his surgeon some update pics and they said everything looked good so far. he’s no longer on codeine so he’s been more up and about and begging for people food and barking at things on the tv again like usual. he’s gone back to pill-checking everything we feed him lmao.

Finally got to rocky ridges and found a path that let me skip the first cutscene, so I went around removing ash, found & unburied most of the museum, then foolishly triggered the cutscene before I finished. all my hard work roo-een’d

I love how much my family loves Reuben. Literally every family member, even people I didn’t tell, are reaching out asking how he’s doing. even my typical “men can’t have feelings” type dad is lecturing me about what a good boy he is as if I didn’t know……

the fallout cafe was by the vet so we finally checked it out

just dropped off my baby boy for surgery. last time ever seeing him like this again. gonna spend the day getting the place comfortable for him when we pick him up tomorrow. buh :’(

gonna be upgrading the binder soon so I can have 4 per row, but moved a couple cards around in my slowpoke binder and it gives the seratonins every time 🩷

we also finally got a vet appointment scheduled for vanta in a few weeks to see if she’s safe to take inside. :) a week after dougie’s bloodwork exam which is a week after reuben’s surgery. sorry I’ve been tunnel vision still from all of this but I’m trying.

ugh so anxious about reuben’s surgery this week. they’re keeping him overnight and I’m just so stressed about it. it’s for the best and I know he’ll feel better after but this face + cone of shame is going to destroy me
