Things in Toronto that make me smile.... At the garage, and guys are talking to each other in Swahili. I thanked them, told them to have a great day, and they loved I 'knew' their language. That was the extent of my knowledge, but it brought smiles to everyone's faces, so totally worth it!!

I really need to start dragging my camera around again. The difference between a phone and a decent camera is massive. But... I always go too far. End up with too much gear, laptop for editing, tripod, etc etc. Maybe just a camera and a decent lens..... and a flash... and.... Doing it again.

Things that suck.... Signing your kid up for a very specialized, expensive, & hard to qualify for sports camp, that is only 4 days, & your kid is 'too sick' to attend. No refunds, no spots in any other camps either. Not sick enough to be 'sick', but.... not feeling well enough to attend.

Even after a road game last night, followed by a concert, the kid was pumped to be at sports camp this morning. Serious coaches, pro lacrosse, and NCAA champions running it for kids. Lucky to have access to such great resources.
