I really hate the “I don’t owe anyone anything” mentality because we actually owe each other and this planet a lot. You don’t have to be selfless all the time or burn yourself out but you should be kind and helpful and compassionate to the best of your ability. We need to care about each other more

When working on a large, complex and time intensive piece, don't forget to draw small and simple stuff for yourself as well! I've had it happen way too often that i just felt veeeery burned out because i didn't do that at times. Also helps a lot with staying in practice!

Watched Project Hail Mary last night, and oh my goodness. That certainly was an experience 😭 And the funny thing about it: I basically saved mine and 10 other people's experience of this movie by overcoming my social anxiety. The image was severely cut-off and NO ONE was telling staff, except me 😳

go tell your favorite artists you like their work. you may think they hear it enough or your praise would be identical to someone else's so you say nothing, but i promise you they would love to hear it. and sometimes they need to hear it.
