Got the repaired gas tank for my friend’s project Ducati back, rebuilt, and installed. Tried to start the bike last night and while it did crank over, it refused to fire up. Which isn’t totally surprising, considering it’s been sitting for 20+ years.

Spent 2 damn hours fighting this Ducati 748, but at least the timing belts are on. Now to remove & clean the throttle bodies, check the valve clearances, replace the fuel & coolant hoses, change the oil, reseal the fuel tank, rebuild the fuel pump, change the chain and sprockets, and do tires. 😭
