Mine don't change much through revisions, it's usually things like foreshadowing something sooner or adding more depth to a scene. That said, #WealdandWen had a different ending in its first draft and an erotica novella I just finished revising turned into a horror story on me. (am discovery writer)

I'm not going anywhere near Mar, but in some alternate reality where I'd do that... I'm going to the city to visit someone who won't be introduced until the third book (and so I am not saying her name) because she's chill and won't want to eat me. Also she talks in riddles so we'd bother everyone.

I like creating and messing with ecosystems. Even when working with realworld-adjacent settings I tend to toss in weird critters or technology or magic that messes with the ecosystem and has to be accounted for. Favorite is 'all the myths are real...how does that affect the world?'
