Pookah. They're mischievous but helpful in many tales but also inherently evil in others. Shapeshifters who seem to prefer being black horses, but can take human form--though they retain animal traits. Puck from 'A Midsummer Nights Dream' is meant to be a type of pookah. They're fun little guys.

It is 66f outside and I think my friend's air conditioner is on. I am freezing but I have no idea how to shut it off. Gunna hide in blankets with the dogs for the next three hours and hope I didn't trick this baby into a coma because she's been out for over an hour now. Babysitting is fun.

Babysitting is a fun way to remember why you wanted your babymaker carved out of you. Like yeah, she's laughing but it's because she shit herself and you have to clean it. What nap? You're new and she wants to stay awake forever to know what you are. And she communicates this by screaming.

I'm babysitting for a friend for eight hours today and I did not think this through before agreeing. I just heard 'I'll pay you' and said yes. It's been at least ten years since I've taken care of a baby. I mean it's not difficult but it is tiring and I am already tired. I might die.

Windows decided to restart mid-driver update, for its own updates I told it not to install, and ended up wiping my driver out. I had no driver. It couldn't find a signal because my monitor stopped existing. It's a good thing I have a tablet with a monitor or I'd have no fucking way to fix this.

Updates to the graphics card should not bork the monitor but here we are with a borked monitor, unable to do anything on the computer because it is stuck cycling through inputs. I'm doing all the recommended things to fix it and will hopefully find one that works soon. Until then...

It's awkward how self-pub authors are stuck selling their books...to other self-pub authors, isn't it? It takes a lot for promotional posts to break containment and half the time those it reaches don't want to take the risk on an unknown. So we're just yelling at each other here. >.<
