Peter Krause, MD is Senior Research Scientist in EMD and an international authority on human babesiosis. He leads a laboratory conducting research on vector-borne diseases abundant in the northern US, such as babesiosis, Lyme disease, & disease due Borrelia miyamotoi, a relapsing fever spirochete.

Measles updates as of May 8: 📍 The Texas outbreak continues, though it appears to be slowing in some areas. 📍 The numbers in El Paso are increasing at a rapid pace. 📍 Kansas numbers are rising and likely under-reported. 📍 We have a new outbreak in North Dakota.
