This is OK on the numbers but any analysis of the expansion of the Health and Care visa to include care roles must take into account how it has been operated and abused. The scale of abuse is so significant that the government is insisting care providers only employ impacted displaced workers

Latest stats show that the number of children in care in Scotland has fallen again and is now 24% lower than a decade ago. Also, children are most likely to be in kinship care.

Extremely disappointed that during the Easter break, ministers have slipped out cuts in support for the most vulnerable children from the Adoption and Special Guardianship Support Fund. I have written to Bridget Phillipson to call for these changes to be reversed immediately šš½
