I'm fortunate enough to have avoided covid thus far. I do not know what it is like to have #LongCovid. I have spoken to a number of people who do know the pain and suffering and grief and loss that is #LongCovid. We need to believe in the harm covid can do.

How are we holding up? If you're more fractious than usual, teary than usual, anxious than usual, you have been paying attention. You are responding to so much stress and trying to adapt as best you can.

One day I will say to my peers "I'm a covid concious counsellor." and there will be fewer "What is thats?" There will be enough understanding of #longcovid and ALL the myriad risks for this to be a respected line of work. There is hope, there is always hope

I hope one day everyone with long covid will be eligible for free or subsidised treatment. I've long wished this for MCAS POTS, EDS, PMDD, endometriosis and other chronic illnesses. I am aware that my own industry is not covered by Medicare which hurts all who need counselling services. Shame.
