Hey everybody! Today is World Giraffe Day! The longest day (or longest night) of the year is a good day to celebrate the tallest land mammal! Giraffe numbers in the wild are decreasing, & today’s the day to raise awareness of these gentle, curious creatures! (not that I’m biased!)

Bagel sandwiches while in NYC: 1) Lox, cream cheese, onion, tomato and capers; 2) egg, cheese and pastrami. I was in heaven, but probably had enough sodium for a week. Worth it! :)

Not many know this, but I have long been involved with helping save the endangered Channel Island fox, found off the coast of S. Calif. We just finished the annual meeting where we learn the latest info about them. I’m happy to report these cuties, about the size of a housecat, are still doing well!

After Frolic last night, headed down the street to V Cafe to get my traditional post Frolic cheesesteak. Growing up in Philly, I know to ask for cheez whiz, but it’s not on the menu. I haven’t been there in 4 months: the lady behind the counter immediately says “Welcome back! Cheez whiz, right?” :)

Eeeeeee! Tonight is @frolic.bsky.social, my favorite furry event in the Bay! I missed the last one, so it’s been awhile, and I can’t wait to be back! Looking forward to seeing all you fuzzies there, and dancing my purple butt off!
