Reading a book where many of the people are high school bully apologists. Not a SINGLE person in MC’s life—INCLUDING HIS PARENTS—show any empathy. They’re all “maybe he’s changed” & “hurt people tend to hurt people” & FUCK THAT. My god. And the author is clearly setting him up as a love interest. 😡

Fantastic farewell for Downton Abbey. A History of Sound was beautiful and sad, and a little messy. ABBBJ was good but tried a little too hard to be poignant. And Afterburn was fun (just turn your brain off first). #LastFourWatched #LetterboxdFriday

Just got my $38.36 settlement payment from the Facebook Privacy lawsuit. QQ. How much did Facebook MAKE from my data? Because our payments should be at least double that. Anything less is not a punishment for the $1.27 trillion company. What a scam our legal system is.

Did anyone else have NO CLUE that the Emmys were last night? I saw zero ads for it and only figured out it was happening after winners were announced on Facebook. There were ads for the freaking VMAs, why not this? And I like awards shows, so I would’ve watched had I known they were on. Yeesh.

Will likely finish my third book in two weeks today. So I’ll only be one book behind now! Which is a relief. Now I just need to start writing. 😭

Saw “To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar” last night and I was trying to think if I liked it more or less than “The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert” and I’ve decided that I love them both equally and they are forever tied as amazing movies, full stop. 👸

This movie came out in theaters FIVE WEEKS AGO. This is part of the reason why movie theaters are dying. You don’t let movies have the time they need to cook in theaters. Releasing movies for home this quickly hurts the industry.

Finally watched #Adolescence on Netflix and what a phenomenal show! I haven’t been that gobsmacked in a LONG time. The acting was stellar all around, writing was amazing, and the fact that every hour-long episode is a single shot is nothing short of incredible. It’s an intense show, but worth it!
