one of my very first novels began with a scene featuring 2 dogs test-driving a car (Scottish Terriers, red Porsche)(it was not good)(I was a child). I'm doing my best to pay homage to this 35 year old scene in my next novel. We'll see if it survives editing. (featured image: me, in a red Porsche)
