I don't think enough people realize that for many folks on disability they cannot risk having over a VERY low cap of money/property or they will lose their benefits nearly immediately It often prevents folks from marrying as well it's ludicrous

i would say this country is embarrassing , which it is, dont get me wrong , but the feeling has never changed because it was always embarrassing and we were born into it witnessing how much these adult babies fumble anything and everything that matters to the people who voted 4 them.

lrt - i really wish people , especially in the furry community , took opiate addiction more seriously. i think a lot of folk underestimate how much it can ruin a life and how much that is not in the direct control of someone who is in pain. people who are addicted dont WANT to be.

Abdullah told me he’s spent weeks at the hospital with his brother. He managed to have surgery to fix the blood clots but now the doctors think he needs a skin graft to save his leg. He is hoping to raise money for the surgery.
