The more I think about it, the more the One Piece remake anime feels like the exact wet dream One Piece fans would fantasize about back in the day. Its an FMA Brotherhood style remake, animated by the Attack on Titan guys, with the composer of MHA doing the music. The only curveball is Netflix tbh.

I often think about how the cartoons and comedy of the early 2010's felt so refreshing because it was like "Oh my god, something that's just kind of fun and nice and not about how we're all just constantly scared and unhappy and mean all the time"

Early Shantae games always looked great, fully utilizing the hardware they were on, but everything in Pirate's Curse is noticeably elevated, from the art, music, presentation, the energy and stakes etc. From the jump it feels like the previous games were solid TV episodes but this is the "movie" lol
