this is something i would like to see more effort and communication on from both the council and the mayor, if i am being honest. i donāt have any issue with the housing junket and approve basically all housing initiatives, but the job situation here needs a lot of attention too

Congratulations, Los Angeles! It's time for Portland to pursue policy to reform outdated regulatory requirements that make it harder to build affordable housing - including reforms to allow construction of multistory, multifamily housing using a single staircase.

Itās been said before, but Iām personally brutalized by ChatGPTās usage of em dashes. Humankind should have exclusive rights to the premier punctuation mark of written English.

Wow! Fantastic turnout this afternoon. We were thrilled to see so many Portland: Neighbors Welcome members and community leaders show up at today's legislative event to learn about opportunities this legislative session to demand greater housing abundance across the city and the state.

Comments like this are at best deeply uncurious, and at worst sowing distrust in the institutions committed to investing in Portland. Yes, it costs money to build things.

My take on the Portland council president result is that it was always going to be Pirtle-Guiney, and Iām glad that it was Green (in moderate D4) who banked some political capital to spend in the coming weeks. What that translates to will be our first real judgment of the progressive councillor bloc

Itāll be a while before we get more details on the program design (RFP is out for a program operator), but what do you want to see as a part of Portlandās E-bike rebate program? Iām hoping the āmedium incomeā tier is at least up to 120% MFI.

Itās really incredible how much BlueSky has seemingly encouraged folks to get off the sidelines and do some capital P posting. Legacy social media networks have hit maturity and feel joylessānot even taking Elonās bullshit into account.

We are thrilled to introduce Portlandās new pro-housing city council majority and mayor. Our endorsed and greenlit candidates will make up 8 seats on council and the mayoralty, and we look forward to working with them to ensure that Portland is a city that welcomes all our neighbors.

While pricing is definitely a challenge for more regular use, using an e-bike share system as a tourist in a new city feels like a cheat code. Truly one of the best ways to amp up oneās perception of a place
