We spend our second week with Claude Lanzmann's Shoah (1985). In Era 2 Lanzmann presses his interviewees - survivors, perpetrators, and witnesses - on the "how" of the Holocaust to horrifying detail. But we also hear tales of hope in inhumane horrors, of resistance and revolt.
