Today I retire from Wizards of the Coast after 28 years. With D&D’s 50th anniversary wrapping up and the revised rulebooks doing gangbusters, this is the perfect fairytale ending for me. I can’t wait to enjoy D&D purely as a fan again, knowing the game is in good hands. See you in the Feywild!

I am really struggling to find the right balance between this joyful spite and genuine fear for my family’s safety. What I want to do is dig deep into (real) community. But maybe what I need to do is get the hell out of here before they come for my kids.

I joke a lot about "Geek parenting for the win," especially when I'm talking about playing in my daughter's #dnd campaign. But, all joking aside, last night's game in that campaign might be the best night of D&D I've had in my life. I'm so proud of her!

$215 million dollars were used this election cycle on anti trans ads. Meanwhile, unemployment amongst trans people as a demographic is the same as the great depression was in the US. Just think about that. For every trans person in the US, $135 was spent by the GOP to attack our rights & dignity.
