My ideal type of deathcore is pretty much in the early-mid 2000s, when it actually blended beatdown hardcore and slam death metal, sometimes melodic death metal. During that MySpace-era, it was sometimes kinda hard for me to differentiate between metalcore and deathcore, which I fucking loved.
