I found out that whales can't focus their eyes out of the water, which means the time a feeding whale made eye contact with me kayaking like 10 feet away it couldn't see me. Science ruined my favourite memory. Damn you science! (okay, it's kinda cool that whales had to re-evolve water-vision)
