I like how a lot of storms have rarer names, but this one is called Dave. He lives down the road and is just popping by for Easter to trash the place. And people'll be, "Oh, that's just Dave. He doesn't mean it." Dave needs to sort himself out.

I've turned off updates for my iPad and iPhone due to the UK changes. I don't have a credit card or driving license (the only ID it'll accept for adult verification). Currently, my desktop isn't trying to age lock me out of the internet. Which I use for most things, so still here for now.

I got a new backpack as the old one is falling apart. New one is purple with winged unicorn seahorses. (The old one is neon pixel art.)

It certainly took some time for Goodreads to add a DNF shelf. I can't see using it as I just consider books unread if I haven't finished them, but I know a lot of people had custom shelves for this.

Time for tea and then some short story writing!

It's always strange when people want to know if I prefer first or third person, because those are not the only two options. As well as there being more persons in English, there are some that don't exist in English (but there could be ways of showing them).

I tried a premade lentil salad. I liked the basic principle of it using fruit, though I think I'd go for different fruit if I make one from scratch. Which might happen as I'm hoping to be more organised with making and freezing food for this year's virtual conventions.

The supermarket has papayas again. I no longer have a papaya as I ate it.

I didn't do much work stuff today, though I got my suppers cooked and frozen for the rest of the week. So, spending time now to have more free later.

Clear day for a walk and I saw the moon! I figured out some new normal editing tricks for mesh, so I've levelled up at that.

It looks like the inventory maintenance in Second Life is over, so time to randomly place some UFOs.

It might be just a tad weird.

My hot take on fruit is that I've never had a fruit I don't like. My favourites are cucumber, papaya and dragon fruit. The first because it's refreshing and crunchy in a nice way and the other two for flavour.

Tried some new oat biscuits today which went well with cheese. This is part of trying to find ways of eating oats that don't need cooking/preparation like porridge (not looking for advice... I found a few things locally).
