Reading a book about music and... I get the need to use evocative words when you're describing sound. But maybe it needs to be proof-read by someone who knows what the words mean. For the avoidance of doubt, you can't blindly use 'syncopated' as a synonym for 'rhythmic'. You can't use 'swung' either

20 years after the first time it was nostalgic and lovely to see @jimmoray.bsky.social tonight And be introduced to Amelia Coburn, fabulous opening. I feel like at a gig many many moons ago Jim Moray and another artist whose name I don’t remember had me sit on the floor and sing Postman Pat.

I'm going to be playing one long set instead of two halves on this tour. This is great in lots of ways, but one of the not-so-great bits is that I'm busy in the changeover, and people want to go home at the end so theres less chance to sell merch and have a chat in the break. SO...

When I was a trustee for EFDSS I found out that a lot of important documents in library collections are digitised and then the originals stored “in a salt mine in Cheshire” because it’s the most stable climate for them. And look! Here it is!
