Patrick Dean, Co-organizer of FLUKE, left this life in 2021 but we found some sketches for unused FLUKE art in the papers he left behind and we're probably gonna do something with it this year. Probably print it on some bags or something. He would have wanted it that way.

Said the FLUKE social media password out loud in a small house filled with lots of people today so there may be more posts here in the future. We’ll see what happens.

Absolute joy. Also, @garretizumi.bsky.social was my table-mate for the day, which was cool as heck.

We’ll be going to sleep for a few months soon, but we’ll be announcing the official date of FLUKE 2026 before we shut down for the “off-season.”

When T. Edward Bak threw a comic book/‘zine party in January of 2002, he called it FLUKE because it was an accident. An anomaly. Something that was only supposed to happen once. Now, a couple of decades later, we’re still here and, frankly, it just keeps getting better.
