I hope I don't die while still trying to get "good enough to start".

There will always be things I don't know, but I feel I can learn so much "on the job" when I'm face to face with the actual scope of my responsibilities. However, getting that job to get the practical/real world experience seems... ridiculous.

As someone pursuing software dev, every time I encounter a problem like Leetcode 560, it crushes all my hope and enthusiasm. There's always room to improve, but I feel like I'm forever chasing "good enough to start".

Why does it feel like all we're doing (and now other countries are doing) is damage control for Trump? Like, all he does is mess stuff up and then the world comes behind and fixes it? Because that's what's happening. Don't lose hope. Don't fall to nihilism.

Hearing people talk about Blue Sky is kinda nuts. On two separate occasions I've heard people refer to Blue Sky as "the place with a bunch of liberal infighting". Which is weird, since I've experienced none of that here. Blue Sky to me is "It's like Twitter but people are actually nice."

Is anyone doing the blackout of Meta's stuff from Jan. 19th to 26th? No Facebook, Threads, Instagram, etc. for a week to see how it affects their bottom line. I saw some stuff going around about this and then it just stopped. >_<

(1/2) I heard on a reel recently that more and more people are "opting out of the American experience". I was like, "Opting out? We can't afford it!" People opt out of things like cruises and world tours. We do not 'opt out' of buying groceries and homes.

Staying optimistic is hard when crime should have consequences, and there's so much crime happening - but because it's being done by rich, white men - there's a a whole lot of "Well, what can ya do? Hey look over there!" and then nothing happens. Why would the layperson trust this system?

I think I FINALLY have entities freaking working in my game. I did not expect it to take so long, but apparently the way I was trying to save them (json) flat out doesn't work in Odin. Now using encoding/cbor and that works well. Should be able to make good progress now. #odin #gamedev #programming

Progress is being made! Bullets now fire right and left. 👍However, now saving and loading doesn't work. When I save, exit and load again, all the spawners shoot bullets right (it doesn't save which ones should shoot bullets left). #gamedev #odin #raylib #programming #screenshotsaturday

Making Progress! Now the bullets all spawn at the same time and make collision with blocks. The length of the entity array is staying under control as well, as destroyed bullets are removed from the array. Nice! #gamedev #programming #odin #raylib
