sometimes ur watching a video about how puyo puyo was localized in the west as both a sonic game and a kirby game on different systems and then the first time they say puyo puyo they mispronounce it somehow and you might lose a little bit of interest

People will say "let's build a fantasy world!" And I'm like "yeah!" Then they say "ok let's design a bunch of humanlike races and gods!" And I'm suddenly like "ehhhhhhhhh" I'll bet I wouldn't have to dig very deep to find why that gives me iffy vibes.

Forever charmed by Monkey Island II's iMUSE implementation, Lucasfilm/Arts' sound engine for smoothly and naturally transitioning from the musical beats and moods of one screen to another. It's something you lose out on in the CD audio based re-releases of this, Dark Forces, and X-Wing/Tie Fighter.

Finally watched Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake. It felt good to go back to a universe and characters I love so much for something so familiar and yet so incredibly new. This show keeps being a miracle.

I managed to get a few of my local friends hooked on the Arkham Horror living card game and I'm so stoked to play Agnes again.

I was up entirely too late, but I finally caught up with The Locked Tomb, and, as is the tradition of my people, am now officially joining the Alectopause.

Finally got to run #Arcs by @leder.games and it was a definite crowd pleaser. Can't wait to table it again to see if I can actually win a game!

I've only just realized these aren't functional reprints of one another, but more importantly, I realized they belong together and should probably be dating.

I've just been made aware of this mod; the creators really went the extra mile for it. No simple gender/model swap; they re-recorded 1700 lines of spoken dialogue, added new NPCs and tweaked others, and made sure pronoun swaps were included across all text. Amazing.

The thing about season 2 of Twin Peaks is that it’s seen as where it jumped the shark, from pop culture phenomenon to cancelled pariah and I get it. A lot of it is quite bad. But also the highs of season 2 are so high that for me it’s where Peaks goes from good TV to art that gives you brainworms

I played a little bit of the Historic Pauper event in Arena (I realized it was up after the stream ended, sorry!) and it was a lot of fun to see what everyone is playing! Next time it pops out I hope to be able to build something proper for it.

I've been trying my hand at running hexcrawl mechanics for overland travel in our current Dungeon and Dragons campaign and I don't think I can recommend it enough, it's so fun. Pixel art map not necessary, but it does make drawing on the map really fun and easy for me.
