💯🎯 As someone else put it recently, using genAI in many contexts is like taking a forklift to move weights around at the gym. The weights don’t need to be moved, & literature doesn’t need to be written or read for its own sake: the effort is the whole point.

Im autistic. Im an academic who studies disability studies/disability history and ableism as an analytical framework. It is not ableist to call Musk a Nazi for throwing not one, but TWO Nazi salutes. Saying its ableist is the cynical exploitation of disabled identity to provide cover for hate.
