I see artists trade their patreon and ko-fi links all the time and it seems sometimes like it's only other artists and a handful of regular followers that pass those round. It really does help. Previous clients saying on comm ads they had a good experience also helps a lot too.

Shaming people for repurposing Spirit Halloween costumes into fursuit heads/paws instead of paying a maker to do a custom is classism and it's gatekeepy. Not everyone can afford to get a custom fursuit made, and not everyone has the time and resources to learn how to make their own.

Judging day was today! I will most definitely, (99.9 percent) be volunteering again. It was an absolute blast, lots of wonderfully baked goodies tasted and lit lots of ribbons awarded. Very rewarding in itself, 😌 Made some friends and good company. Snuck a peek at my art, no spoilers though lol

So, when I said I was feeling a bit better…. I jinxed myself, later that afternoon I ended up in the ER for a couple hours getting an apparent PCOS diagnosis and lots of IV fluids and meds…. 🥲 I never want to feel that pain again. That whole afternoon turned into a nightmare. I’m fine now.
