This year's finds for the May Brimfield show! Due to the rain, I focused on smalls.

Welp. One of my favorite things to do at Brimfield is take photos at the big antique show. But it began raining almost immediately and I've tapped out after about 5 hours and 3 miles in the downpour. (It is also 54F and I have started to get cold.)

My daughter sent me this point-and-shoot film photo. I love it because the dog's physiology, the dog's behavior, and the framing are all minimally dynamic. What dog looks like that, let alone stands still on a beach? What photographer frames something so statically centered? It all fits.

I like Bsky a lot, but it seems undeniable that the ownership/staff hate who their users are, and particularly hate the fact that trans people are such an avid userbase. In addition to being despicable, that's also concerning as someone whose living currently depends on trans Bsky.

Glasbake jars from the 1940s. Not all the colors in the range, but I found a small collection that tickled my inner magpie. Look for "Walkers honey whip". Might put them on a shelf to hang from the top of the window (out of range of curious kitty paws and teeth) and then use for air plants.
