Every scene in your screenplay should be compelling in its own right. Ask yourself why anyone would find this scene interesting to watch. Why is it fun? Or compelling? Have an actual answer. Few things are more boring than a scene that only exists to get to the next scene. #scriptsky

Since we're on the process of screenwriting processes: 1. Concept 2. Collect cool stuff related to concept. Words, images, research, snippets of dialogue 3. Rough idea of characters 4. Emotional beat sheet 5. Outline 6. First draft 7. More of steps 1-5 8. Rewrites + many notes. #ScriptSky
