Green Day was at my play at work tonight and they came backstage afterwards. It was easily the most starstruck I’ve ever seen any of my coworkers be before!

My literary manager thanked me for being so proactive, so you might say I’m getting a good grade at being a repped screenwriter, which is definitely a completely normal and entirely possible thing to achieve :)

Tonight at work I was striking costumes from the set, and an audience member walked up and asked me to deliver something to one of the actors I dress I gotta say, as weird as it is to be treated as a mail delivery service for one of your coworkers, the worst part for me-- (1/2)

Today I took a bath so hot I came out lightheaded but at least my body feels more relaxed and tension-free than it has in a long long time

We are trying to encourage neighborhood cats to hang out in our backyard and keep rats away. Unfortunately my dog is very anti-cat and yells at them every time she sees one. She scared the same one away twice today and I’m sure we’ll never see it again :(

Sometimes I like to think about the first year I was going to AFF (2023) and I, being a theater kid at heart, asked the good folks of Screenwriting Twitter in earnest how many Halloween costumes I should pack. The consensus: "none, you weirdo" 😂

Might fuck around and write a whole-ass stage play about my falling out with my former best friend. Was given the idea via a comment over at The Bad Place, but I was seriously just struck with a bolt of inspiration for how to make it work and I might need to make it happen.

It's that time of year where I'm sending approximately one million emails about my annual fundraiser Breast in Show while also waiting for emails about my screenplay BREAST IN SHOW. Can't wait for the day that I have to rename the fundraiser to avoid confusion with the movie.

Told myself I’d only go to AFF this year if I place in Semifinalists or higher. Now that I’m awaiting a response, I find myself hoping extra hard that I place so I have an excuse to go Should I just… go to AFF regardless? Genuinely might just go to Austin without a badge and hang out with everyone
