Morning all - less than a month after paying a grand to stop the car leaking exhaust fumes into the cabin, we are awaiting a £400 DPF clean this morning after a warning light and loss of power. Hoping it can be fixed, ‘cause no other car here, and I need milk! 🤞🏻

My child is doing her first big drive to Sheffield and the stress is real. Please tell me that one day, I’ll stop panicking about every drive she does? 😥

I despair every year when the Jungle thing starts, as my son demands we all sit together to watch it…I complain, but this is the ONLY time we do. Only this year will be the last time we will all be together for it.

Ugh. Been poorly for 8 days but fighting it myself. Doctor calls me about bloods and hears me coughing, says I need to be seen and to pick my time. (!) Upper, mid and lower respiratory infections. But I AM much better than I was, and my fever broke Tuesday.

Serious post……. Guys….. Call your GP or book a blood test on the nhs app for a PSA test…NOW !! If you’re over 50 they definitely won’t refuse….It’s not conclusive but it’s a good place to start. I do this annually now. Don’t feel guilty about using resources, you only get one life.

The downsides to living in an old house are nagging at me lately - especially that it never feels clean, no matter how much I do.

Oldest cat - who has been with us since daughter was 3 - does not appreciate her not being home and spent the night yowling for her. She’s swiped a dirty sock from her washing and has carried it around in her mouth all night.. 🫩
