Just finished the book last night and it was everything I wanted it to be, a story that celebrates Magic’s history while grounding it in the lives of real people and how the events affect them. And then I see this story this morning, and it warms my heart that this is who wrote it ❤️ ❤️

This has been the week from hell. After mom’s hospital stay last week, going directly into multiple car problems, which I didn’t even have the chance to resolve before IMMEDIATELY getting hit like a freight train by an extremely bad viral cold (which might be Covid, fingers crossed it’s not).

With Project Hail Mary’s movie coming out now seems like a good time to repost my drawing of the Hail Mary and Blip-A that I did a year ago after my book club read the book. #projecthailmary

Well, I wasn’t going to build this, but now I guess I gotta 😂 one of only two new piece of FF art Amano did for MTG, and one of my all time favorite characters, Terra Branford.

Wasn’t planning on coloring this, but spent another morning binging the show (on to season 2) and I wanted to. Tried to make it look like she’s just disengaging active camo. I think this version looks better without the coat so I removed that layer.

Rewatching Ghost in the Shell S.A.C. in 2025 and seeing the Tachikoma AI’s slowly go off the rails becoming sentient is a lot more upsetting than it was in 2005. Giving them cute voices actually makes it worse. Imagine ChatGPT or Grok in one of those. 😭

Apparently today is the 30th Anniversary of the first Ghost in the Shell movie. I honestly didn’t know and have been working on this for a few days while rewatching the movie and binging S.A.C. on a whim 😅 drawing of Major Kusanagi done in procreate. #ghostintheshell
