I am, indeed, the artist who made these pieces quite a few years ago. Needless to say, I did not use AI, I have never used AI in any of my work. As @inklingwood.bsky.social puts it: AI wasn't even a thing you COULD use back in 2021

This is relevant. Be reliable, that's the most important part. But if you can't meet a deadline because of any reason, mail your AD as fast as possible. They'll will understand and respect your honesty.

Enter this: a repository of open-access, AI-free images of wild & exotic taxa. Artists creating *without AI* have blanket permission for derivative/transformative use.
