A common criticism of Mega Man & Bass is that the Bass Buster only does 1 pip of damage to bosses. A late upgrade increases that to 2, but if you're spicy with it, the Critical Boost can be gotten sooner and makes the Bass Buster do 3 pips at low health Just don't get hit and bosses go down fast!

Gauging interest in a short book of the various reviews posted this year, maybe 100 pages or so, like an HG101 annual edition. Stuff that doesn't otherwise fit into any themes.

Turns out Star Fox 64 is still a great game when it's remade for Switch 2, what a surprise, who could have possibly expected this I recommend trying out the local co-op, it's really fun working together by splitting duties and I'm proud my friend and I managed to get some medals on our first go

For this #RandomGameSaturday, I have Arcana, HAL Laboratory's DRPG that's a lot friendlier than many of its contemporaries in the genre. Add in good music and nice, colorful visuals and you have quite a cool game! The box art is also very funny to me and really not indicative of the game at all

Completed my Natural Four Job Fiesta run, which is also my fourth one! Knight, Summoner, and Chemist are still the GOATs, but Geomancer was... interesting! It's not *good*, but since they made most locations give you the same !Gaia moves, you can semi-reliably spam Wind Slash and that's kinda nice

In Shining Wisdom, if you (for some reason) decide to literally dig around in front of the final boss, you'll be rewarded with the Gale Orb, which gives your character a serious case of the Zoomies. Combine that with the Bounce Boots and you can jump across entire maps with ease! It's very fun!

On this #RandomGameSaturday, I have Silver for the Dreamcast, an action RPG that's named after the villainous wizard you're hunting down and has nothing to do with a certain hedgehog. This was originally a PC RPG and really stands out as a rare example of the genre on the Dreamcast, pretty cool!
