This is two hours of lucid, sane, truthful analysis of the way that queer (in the broadest sense) people, in the UK in particular, have been for decades, & continue to be now, controlled, pathologised, denied dignity, denied autonomy, & endangered by politicians, professionals AND the unqualified.

I have to love it when a GC man reposts me on Xwitter, in the mistaken belief that I'm one of his cult. In this case I was upbraiding a t€rf for using their tired old "what is a woman?" shibboleth.

The GC-cult credo seems to be about "Saying no to men." Well, I SAY NO TO MEN TOO! Specifically I say NO to the man they make ME out to be. I say NO to his being any part of my life. "Man" is no part of my existence, no part of my self-knowledge. I say NO to GC oppression!

The other day I did something I've never done before. I took a nude selfie. Just to see how I looked. The answer is I'm tubby, my waistline has gone, I'll never haver a flat tummy again. Also, my body is lighter than my face. My bust isn't bad for someone of my age. No, I'm not sharing!

Somebody blocked me for saying this about the Supreme Court ruling. I AM concerned about it and about how it makes life more difficult, but there is much being said - by both GCs on the one hand and trans & allies on the other - that goes beyond what the ruling actually says and means.
