Just heard that my cousin passed today and I have no idea how to process this. We used to be close but haven’t been for the past 10-15 years because of some bad decisions on her past that I couldn’t be around. Still hurts though.

Part of my path this year will be to become my own best friend. I have not been good at this. And I imagine it will take a while to earn my own trust. I need to do things for myself as I would my best friend. I need to talk to myself, those inner monologues, as I would talk to my best friend.
