Yesterday, across from Ebenezer Baptist Churchâjust days before MLK Day, when crowds will gather to honor justice and equalityâa homeless man was killed during an encampment sweep by an Atlanta city vehicle. These sweeps are cruel, brutal, and utterly counterproductive in addressing homelessness.
