All true. And even though Venezuela pumps mostly sludge that pretty much only US refiners can handle, oil is fungible (Venezuelan oil maybe slightly less fungible than most of it). It's ugly style points for Trump. He likes it more than a DC military parade, & it may help on the inflation front.
