Discord will soon start requiring age verification to access adult content. Not great news! However, as far as we can tell, this shouldn't affect servers not marked as "adult". This means VidUKon's server, where much of the con's social interaction takes place, will still be accessible without ID.

As an FYI to people thinking about going to VidUKon: I’ve booked my hotel and the rates are much less than the official quote given to concom. Refundable rates for one room with two adults with breakfast were £99-£126 per night for Fri-Mon.
