Mouseward Demo Released Developer Finite Reflection Studios released a demo for Soulslike RPG Mouseward. The demo for the game, which is inspired by 3D Nintendo 64 adventure games, is available to try out through Steam. It lets players wield a sword, a dagger, or a great hammer while taking on rat soldiers, badger barbarians, and an owl warlord. It also includes hidden skill-upgrading Fallen Stars as well as additional secret quests and items. Mouseward takes place in a kingdom ravaged following a starfall that came with celestial fragments, which warp the world and revive the dead. It follows a royal mouse guard brought back to life and tasked with collecting celestial fragments scattered through the kingdom. His perilous journey takes him to rat castles and foggy forests filled with hidden passages, cryptic clues, and environmental puzzles. The real-time combat requires players to manage their stamina while timing their parries, dodges, and strikes against corrupted foes. Players can customise their playstyle with a variety of weapons, armor sets, and arcane abilities.
