When people claim liberal arts education is unnecessary, I remind them how often we hear/see: “This isn’t the America I know”. And I remind them that with liberal arts education, they would know what America is as well as how, why, and when we got here. But that’s also why many want it eliminated.

I’d rather fund SNAP

Those students, regardless of the percentage, are still very important to the institutions that enroll them. Remember that the denominator in this equation includes students at institutions that have few or no foreign students and were not budgeting on that tuition.

Me as a child. Me as an adult.

Let’s remember they are our employees— and with this kind of work performance many of them should be on a PIP so they can be replaced.
