I specifically asked him to call. He said "if she comes back, cool. If she doesn't, she doesn't." She lives alone & has no family. Today, I emailed his supervisor, who replied: ask her boss. I DID! 3 TIMES! I'm worried. She's not someone who doesn't show up without calling in.

A custodian hasn't been here all week. Last Thurs, she didn't feel well & looked sick. I told her to call her dr. She doesn't always work on Fri, so I didn't think anything about it. Tues, I asked her boss & he hadn't heard anything. Asked again Wed & yesterday. He hasn't even called her.

Ravens draw too much attention for my nights out. But if I do it right- and you know I will- lots of daggers will be inconspicuous.

I don't have to work overtime tonight. On the one hand, it would have been a long day. On the other, the extra money would have been nice. 💸

Upstairs kid likes to throw stuff off the balcony, usually toys. The dad never picks it up. This morning, there was a NASTY diaper on my steps. 🤮 I found a stick, picked it up, and put it on the hood of his car. Maybe he'll notice this time.

I haven't been to my writing group since the end of November, I think. Maybe since before Thanksgiving. I'm going today, mainly because I need the socialization. I'm becoming feral from being in a basement all day with no one to talk to.

Yesterday it was so warm, I had to put on the AC so I could sleep. It was 73F when I went to bed. This morning's temp is 57. Expected high: 60. Overnight tonight: 20. This is fine. Everything's fine.
