So it’s been a while since I have posted very much. The reason for it was I was working on some real life stuff. In the summer I qualified for my 18tonne LGV licence. I then applied for a position in the company I work for. And I got the job! Last Friday I passed my final assessment.

I’ve been working on my sketchy style a bit. Trying to focus less on control and tidy art. Instead trying to be more expressive and scruffy. None of these drawings have a “rough” drawing. They came out exactly like this. No clean up except erasing a couple of bits here and there.

I like looking at towns to live in other countries. Like Canada, New Zealand or Sweden. They always look really pretty. But I wonder, is it like looking at the UK & seeing places like the Cotswolds or Edinburgh & thinking we all live there? When in reality we all live in some dingy housing estate.

I like watching POV driving videos, mostly from other countries. My favourites are Canada and New Zealand. These places are spectacular with their scenery. And as a professional driver, I won't lie when I say how EASY it looks to drive there. It's the dream!

You can tell I've lived in the north of England for too long. My van has just hit 32° and I'm like "uuggghh I can't cope. I'm dying"

Life goals…?

It’s been a long time since I created a #map and I really enjoy making maps. Here is a map of The North West of England. The region in which I live. This region has the highest mountains and biggest lakes in England. It also contains some of the biggest cities.
