Red-Blue thinking dominates media cvrg to tell you abt Trump or Dems winning/losing the shutdown. That's wrong. Trump inflicts pain to win. Dems holding out for healthcare or trying to get SNAP are abt the ppl of the US for whom we have a govt. This all is clarifying when you see it right.
